Otso Care

The paperwork writes itself. A carer signs it off.

Otso Care is a private AI assistant for care homes and home care. It drafts visit notes, reports and rotas, keeps families up to date and calls clients living at home every morning. Client data stays on the unit’s own box, never in the cloud.

Save up to €100k a year in every location.*

*Our own estimate. [Basis of the calculation]

Care is short of hands. Paperwork eats the time that’s left.

Documentation

Visit notes, daily and monthly reports, rotas and messages, often written after the shift.

More clients every year

More older people, living at home for longer, and too few carers to visit them all.

Long hours between visits

A short visit a day leaves long hours with no one to talk to, and families far away.

One agreement. A box in every unit.

  1. 1

    Buy

The care company signs one agreement and pays per box, per month. No IT project.

  2. 2

    Deploy

A box in every care home unit. Staff use it on WhatsApp or with Otso Pocket.

  3. 3

    Extend

The same company takes Otso into home care, with devices in clients’ homes working alongside the box.

The AI and its memory live inside the box. A person approves every action.

In care homes

Paperwork off the carer’s plate.

Otso drafts, a person signs off. Nothing is filed, sent or invoiced until someone has approved it.

Concept

Otso Pocket: a recorder clipped to every carer.

Press once and speak. The observation or the whole visit goes to the unit’s box, not to the cloud, and comes back as a draft note to approve.

Observations
“Aino ate half her lunch, hip still sore.”
Visit recording
With the client’s consent, summarised on the box.
No phone needed
Hands free during care, synced when back in range.

In home care

A companion that calls, listens and keeps family close.

Morning call

No answer? The family or the nurse hears about it.

Someone to talk to

News, memories, the grandchildren, on their own phone.

Reminders

Medicines, meals, appointments and care visit times.

For the family

A short note to family, only what the person wants to share.

Otso reminds, but it never assesses symptoms or gives medical advice. Anything health-related goes to a person.

Integrations and templates

Built around the systems care already runs on.

Ready-made templates are built around client record, care management, rota and safety alarm systems. Connections to each provider’s systems are set up during the pilot.

Care data is the most private data there is.

Health, medicines, memory, money, family conflicts, the inside of someone’s home. A care assistant hears all of it, every day. That is why Otso keeps it on the box.

Questions? Answers.

Is Otso a medical device?

No. Otso reminds and passes on information, but it does not assess symptoms, diagnose or give treatment advice. Anything health-related is always passed to a person.

Does Otso work with our client record system?

We set up the connection to your system during the pilot. Notes arrive as drafts, and a carer approves them before they are saved.

Where is client data kept?

On the unit’s own box. The AI model, memory and draft notes are processed on the box. We have no copy.

Can visits be recorded?

Only with the client’s consent and under the provider’s own rules. An observation can always be logged in the carer’s own words instead.

What if the box breaks?

We replace it. An encrypted backup is kept on a second device on site, never in the cloud.
